Hey peeps! M back from our holidays! Let me just tell you guys that Bali is great!! And I mean it in my most ecstastic and excited voice! And of course, I will recommend to anyone who is interested to go to Bali coz it is a very very gorgeous island!! Hehehe... I just finished uploading and resizing the photos coz its a lot.. Half of my camera's memory was only on Bali's pics alone.. Hehehe..
Before we went to Bali, we stopped over at Kuala Lumpur for 2 days as there is no direct flight from Brunei anymore.. So yeah, the usual shopping happened PLUS it was The Great Malaysia Sale. There were a lot of Arabians in KL and according to Fizan, it was because its the peak season and its the holidays in the Gulf region, so the richie rich of the Gulf region travel to Malaysia to holiday and of course shop. During our stay there, we managed to meet up with Fizan and had a little chit chat over at the Curve..
And so Bali, there are just so much stuff to say about Bali... The weather was great despite the scorching sun but thank god there was a cool breeze throughout the days we were there so yeah, we didn't have sweaty bodies while walking around the city.. Hehehe.. It was also peak season at Bali but this time, the tourists were mostly from Australia and Europe. So everywhere we went, there were Orang Putih around.
We stayed at Melia Bali Resort and SPA at Nusa Dua and it was recommended by Arni and I tell you, the resort was really fantastic! *Sigh* We were under the Honeymoon package therefore we had an upgrade of room from deluxe to duplex suite which was a 2 floor room, and there was the romantic dinner for by the beach and also there was the Balinese massage.. Yup, we did enjoy the whole package. So basically, we went around Kuta area, and Ground Zero of the Bali Bombing and also, we had a one day tour around Bali which started from 8am till 7.30 p.m. We took the one day tour on the day that we were leaving for KL, and since our flight to KL was at 11.35 at night, why not take the tour! And the tour was so great! We contacted a tour company from a leaflet I picked up at the Airport, and in the brochure listed the places of interest in Bali for which the tour can last one day and all for USD$35 per person, including lunch!! Great deal.. Oh well, please click here and here for the photos.. Enjoy!!
