HUGE Opening

Sorry peeps for the delayed update. The laptop was with Syg for a few days so I was "computer free" for a while. But come to think of it, having espeed at home makes you addicted to Internet and of course blog hopping. So I just couldn't resist checking out the Internet at my mum's computer throughout the whole "computer free" period. Last night I was so bored that I asked Syg to return back the laptop *hehehe* Cheeky me, macam tah the laptop belongs to me.. Oh well, Syg doesn't mind...

Anywayz, the major happening during the week was the much awaited and anticipated opening of Giant Hypermart at Rimba last 22nd March. It was a really predictable situation, as usual, Bruneians would get the place packed up within a few minutes of opening. I received an email from a colleague on pics during the opening of Giant and cars were liked parked everywhere! Even until the edges of the highway bridge and roundabouts. Go figure! So, since I knew that the place will surely be packed with energetic Bruneians, me and Syg decided to just check out Giant the next day i.e. Sunday. So yea, Sunday's itinerary was as follows:-

8.00 a.m.- Went swimming with Syg and Syg's siblings at the National Swimming Complex (Weekly exercise)

10.30 a.m.- Went back to Syg's house and changed into my Baju Kurung to attend Syg's cousin's wedding at Kg Kasat

11.00 a.m.- Off to Kg Kasat. Didn't know that it was that far via road. Heheh

11.30 a.m.- Seated at the kem with Syg's sibs and fan ourselves out as the weather was really hot plus we were all tired from all that swimming.

12.00 p.m.- Still fanning ourselves, me and Aimi were already feeling the sweat.. Mike test comes along, so we got excited thinking that it was time for doa, but woops, not yet. Org berziarah pun alum ada... Oh well~ *continued complaining on how hot the weather was*

12.15 p.m.- After a few minutes passed and a few mike test along the way, the rombongan of org berziarah started greeting the guests.

12.30 p.m.- Finally, doa and of course makan coz we were so hungry after the morning exercise.

1.00 p.m.- Went back to Syg's house and rested there for a while as we were so tired.

3.00 p.m.- Syg sent me back home. But before heading home, we decided to pass by Giant, you know just give it a try.. Hehehe..

3.30 p.m.- Long traffic at the roundabout heading towards Giant! Syg had to turn back as he couldn't stand the long traffic plus cars were parked everywhere

4.00 p.m.- Arrived at home but then I convinced Syg to try out Giant coz probably the traffic would ease down. So I changed my clothes and off we went to Giant again. And this was what we saw:

Traffic heading to the roundabout at Rimba

After 15 minutes, we were already in the middle of the roundabout

Giant is just a few minutes away.. Heheh.. Told syg to bersabar saja coz there will be parking for us

Cars parked outside Giant

There was even traffic police assisting to ease the traffic. Talk about A really Giant! Opening

Took this pic while we were paying for our stuff.. Heheh

Anywayz, we didn't manage to park inside Giant's parking space coz we got a parking space just outside Giant i.e. along the roadside. Heheh.. We spent a good 3 hours in Giant! Hehehe.. Did some shopping of appliances as well as some groceries for home.

Oh well, a frenzy Giant experience indeed. It felt like I was in another country coz everywhere I turn, people were with trolleys. Imagine, trolleys were finished for a while so we had to wait for a few minutes before the trolleys were returned back to the trolley aisle.. Hahaha..

In another note, Arni treated us at Taurean last Saturday night. It was her birthday last 19th March and since Fizan was also in BRunei to visit her, she called for a gathering to celebrate their birthday. BTW, Fizan's birthday was last Sunday, 23rd March.

Pic taken after Dinner

I rushed them to take the pics coz while we were having dinner, they started to talk about P.S. I Love You, The Movie and I was like, "I have to watch the movie". So since the movie time was at 10.15 p.m., we were able to catch it on time.. Its a really nice and sweet movie. I'd recommend them to sappy romantics out there.. (me being one of them).. Hehehe...

M off to bed now.. Gonna have another boring but hectic day again at the office tomorrow.. How I wish it was the weekend already.. *sigh* 1 more day to go. M on leave on Friday.. Uncle's Wedding.. Gonna be a busy weekend..

That's What Friends Are For~~~

Hey peeps.. This entry is dedicated to the important people in my life, for whom, without them, I can't see myself be living in this world with smile, laugther, joy, sadness and filling me with the lamest jokes and the juciest gossips.. Heheh.. I love to them to bits and even I rarely meet them, I would like to let them know that they complete the little pieces of my heart... Of course, majority goes to my family and my syg.. Hahaha!

The whole geng

Jenger Ladies
Actually, before I begin blogging about my amigos and amigas, the reason I decided to blog about them is because I bumped into one of my high school mates this afternoon *dun wanna name the person here*. Its been quite some time, say like 2 to 3 years since I met the person, and of course, being me, I would like to chat for a while and ask how the person has been doing. The person was with two other persons and that person should at least have the courtesy to stop for a while and chat, but noo... the person was like.. "eh, lama dah inda jumpa" and I was like "Hi ***** (with a wave)" and the person just like walked away with her/his friends. I was like, what is wrong with *****?? So unprofessional... But whatever, we were close back then, I guess the not meeting the person for quite some time made me drift apart from that person. So for that, I realised that we should treasure the very important people in your life i.e. your friends, for they are your shadow during the day and your light during the night... So anyway, I am really thankful to have these bunch of friends who I really treasure the most till this very day and of course till the future till we grow old.
Poinz

I met her since Primary 2. We went to the same Primary school and High School and till this day, we remain the best of friends. I watched this lady grew up from a little girl with bangs to a fine woman who loves what she does i.e. teaching.. Heheh... There are no words to describe Poinz. Funny, cute, hmm.. what else... I dunno, its just her characteristics that makes her the person that she is and the person that I learn to love from Primary 2 till now.. Love you daleng Poinz!

Nui

Nui, where shall I start? She and Poinz have similar characteristics. That's why, they are inseparable. Met Nui at MS Form 1 and have been friends eversince. Nui is a young girl at heart. She has her moments too especially when she has crushes with someone. Hahaha... She's the type of person who you can confide your feelings and seek advice too. I remember, during my High School times, I would like call her at her home and just chat about stuff, crushes and all and would gossip in the middle.. Hehee... Now she's in Brisbane, continuing her Masters and being the number goddess that she is.. Haha.. Ohh, that's nice, Number Goddess... Hahha... Love you daleng Nui... You take care there..

Ripin

Ripin, Ripin, Ripin.. Hmm... We have been enemies for a while, hmm... like in Form 4? Haha.. He had totally transformed eversince he got back from Brisbane! Became more mature (which I had never expected before) and yea, he is one of my close friends now. Of course, he may be annoying at times especially during Jenging Moments, but we need a little bit of "Annoying Moment" to cool down our stress level from work. Yeah, he's cool.. ;p

Jebriz

Haha... This guy, dari Primary 1 ku kenal till now.. Haha.. Imagine, I had to and I mean, HAD TO watch him grow from a small boy to a big boy now.. Hahaha.. Can't say much about him.. He is just funny at times with a little sprinkle of annoyance *same like Ripin* but he also has grown to become a mature man eversince he got a job that he likes. Hehehe..

Widz

Ahh.. Widi... Nothing much to say here.. These words decribe the very best of her:
INCREDIBLE

KIND HEARTED SPIRIT LADY

BUBBLY

CUTE

ALWAYS POSITIVE

She always has this positive vibe... and that is why I love her to bits.

Arni

I've known this lady since High School but I've gotten close to her when I studied in KL after High School and where she studied there too after her A Levels. We would go shopping, would sleep on the same bed whenever I sleep over, would go clubbing and dance and flirt, and would go wild at times ;). I just love this lady! She is also the best person to gossip with. Hehe..
Rizan

This lady is my confidant. Met her when I worked at Baiduri Bank and she has been one of my closest colleagues there. We would share our problems and would advice one another. She is a good listener too.. She is also one of the best person to gossip with too.. Heheh

The Jengers
So yea, appreciate your friends as they don't just fall on your lap like the rain falls from the sky that easy. They are like seeds for you to plant, a leaf to grow and look after and a flower to nurture and keep. Love you my lovely amigas and amigos...

Busy Busy Busy!!

Helleww.... Sorry peeps for the oh-so-late update.. Been very busy with work and the wedding prep as usual!! We have yet to complete our shopping for our hantaran stuff! As I have mentioned, only 95% of the stuff were from KL, the other 5% will be from here and yet, we only completed 2.5% of the 5%.. Hahaha... Oh well, 3 more months to go!! Argh! I'm starting to feel the jitters already.

Anyhoos, seems like Nui has finally gotten over the home-sick mood, well not 100% right Nui? At least you are already exploring some parts of Brisbane.. Hehehe.. Siuk!! We should all go there one day.. Next year perhaps? Heheh.. Can't wait! :) Miss you Nui!

Last night was American Idol again! And KUDOS to David Archuleta!! He is such a sweetheart! Thank god he didn't suck this time. Probably last week he was kinda nervous to be on the big stage which eventually lead him to forget his lyrics.. Hahah!! But this week, he proved that he was the one to beat! And yes, he is the one to beat!!!

And yeah, yesterday was Arni's birthday! Happy birthday daleng.. And apa lagi ah? I am actually running out of ideas right now.. Hahaha..

Selamat Menyambut Maulud Nabi Mohammad S.A.W.

I'm Back!!!

Hey peeps! It been a while since I blogged. Hehe.. Just got back from Kuala Lumpur. And its been a while say 2 years since the last time I went back there and to my utter suprise, loads of things changed within the past 2 years especially around Bukit Bintang. Major shopping were done here:

The Pavilion

That was the very first stop of our shopping tour. It is Hugeeee with a capital 'H'. Loads of designer boutiques as well as my favorite shop Guess? where they had 40% off on jeans! So what did I do? Get a pair, of course...

Went inside Bebe as well and got meself a cute office bag which was 50% off.... sigh.. shopping heaven.

The Office Bag

The two guys were my back and call for carrying my shopping bags. Imagine, the very 1st day of shopping and we were on the roll. To bad, I didn't take photos of them carrying the bags. Heheh.. Of course, the main purpose of us going to KL is to shop for hantaran.. Yup, we managed to get 95% of the stuff here (Wouldn't want to take photos of those, bangas tia karang).

Breakfast at McDs before shopping at The Pavilion

We went to Masjid India the 2nd day to buy kain and perhiasan hantaran. No comment about the shopping sana coz we were damn tired. Walking here and there.. One comment however, the kains there are so cheap!! Hehe...

3rd day, we went to KLCC and continued shopping for our hantaran stuff. BTW, we didn't utilise much taxi rides during our trip there. Mind you, they are just giving you the fare for the trip straight away.. Sheeeshh... Thank god for LRTs.. Anyhoos, I could not leave KLCC without visiting Kino.. And guess what embraced me when I entered Kino:

One of my fav authors! M still in the midst of finishing the book! Its really funny!!

Also, I met up with my ex college mates there and we had a good dinner at Manhattan Fish Market which served good seafood dishes. I really enjoyed that dinner. Too bad, I wasn't able to take photos with my cam as we didn't bring the cam along but we managed to take photos using Sheao Fong and Rach's cam. Will get some photos from them.

This was taken at BB Monorail. We took the monorail to Bukit Nenas and changed LRT to KLCC.

4th Day: Shopping at Pavilion again... Some last minute stuff for the family. Went to Sungai Wang in the afternoon for Dood's shopping of souveniers. Had our early dinner at Nando's. Yum! Yum! At night, we made a surprise fone call to Nui to greet and sing her a birthday song. Courtesy of Poinz. Thanks Poinz for making the conference call. It was really fun... Seems like everyone was so near at that time.. We had like 3 locations for the con call: Brunei, Malaysia and Australia.. HAhaa... Hope the bill isn't costly poinz.. Hehe.. Happy Birthday Nunui!! We love you!!

Inside the Pavilion

Since our flight yesterday was at 5.30 p.m., I requested for an extension for a late check out at 2. And request was granted. So of course, to kill time in the morning, we went to Times Square (which I have not been before) and we took a stroll around the area. It has a huge atmosphere too but the shops are not that great compared to Pavilion. So after a few minutes of strolling, we still had time, so we ended up going back to Pavilion (just couldn't get enough of Pavilion), to get a last minute item (which I saw in the Benefit make-up booklet) and also to grab some lunch at Food Republic before heading back to the hotel and finish up our packing. We also grabbed 2 dozen of JCO Donuts which we brought back to Brunei. Hehe.. I thought only Fun Donuts has a long queue, rupanya, JCO Donuts also has a long queue especially during lunch hour. Hehehe..

At LCC Terminal, waiting to depart to Brunei

Anyhoos, that is a summary of our shopping trip in KL. I wanna go back there again for more shopping.. (together with the Jengers, perhaps.. Hehhe..)

And for Hibri, here is a sneak peak of my room. Can't take the whole room coz its a bit messy. Nanti tah lagi time kan kawin dah.. Hehehe..
