boredom strikes....

so, m in my office, blogging using syg's new phone which is ultra cool! M still getting use to it! Haha! Hmm... i wonder if using the internet is free of charge... Hehe! Anyhoo, there's only a few days left till the new year n i honestly dun tink i have accomplished my resolution this year.. except 4 the fact dat i got engaged! Hehe.. looking back throughout the whole year, i manage to clear my mind n to overcome the problems that i faced. It turned out to be a good reflection upon me.. hope that'll be the same for next year..

Its gonna be a busy year next year n u guys know what i mean! hehe! so m looking ahead towards a busy year! Plus nui n widz r going across the sea *hehe* for masters n they'd better be bk in time 4 my big day! K peeps, till the next entry!

Tis the Season...

Tis the season to be jolly??? That's a line from a Christmas Song... Well, jolly for me, not for Christmas but for last week. Despite having everyone and I mean majority of my colleagues go on leave and left me wif a hefty ton of work, I somehow had 2 days of jolly good times. One being my very close friend's birthday suprise party that we had for her and second, being syg's youngest sister's birthday which we celebrated with an overnite at Empire together with the rest of the sibs and swimming the next day..


(Due to unforseen circumstances, these few lines had been deleted.. Hehehe) Surprise Party at Poinz went very well, of course there were some hiccups.. i.e. hiding behind the car porch and gotten all stung by the big giant cactus and a quick rain shower. All in all, it was a great surprise. Poinz was overwhelmed as she tought that we were bringing her to Ka Jazz's place.. Hahaha.. Yeah right Poinz, you think we will ask you to pick your present there... No offence Ka Jazz, ur place has the greatest goodies for scrapping!


The next day, me and Syg's sibs stayed overnite at Empire Hotel just for a relaxation for the weekend and since it was school holidays. I needed a break from work as well. Since it was Miah's bday the next day, we stayed up late playing Monopoly and Uno till 12a.m. and that's when she blew her surprise birthday cake. The next day, we went swimming and we had fun swimming and kayaking... The result: Sunburn and darkness.. Hahaha... After checking out, me n Syg brought the whole entourage to KFC for lunch and after that we caught a movie, "Alvin and the Chipmunks" before heading home..

What a Week!!!

All I can say is that I had a busy week! I attended 2 weddings, the latest being today. Asmah's bersanding. Congrats to Asmah!! Wish her all the best.. Wasn't able to take photos with her though but I took some shots with her during her Nikah and Berbedak. Anyhoos, lotsa things happened during the week, one being a family matter which I am not obliged to discuss it over here. It was kinda sad actually. You think that this can only happen in the movies, but actually it is happening in the real world. Oh well... Enough said.

Cut Me Open

I wonder if someone would actually cut me open.. I guess this can happen when someone performs an autopsy on me or operate me.. Hehhe... I just love this song from Leona Lewis. Macam, I've been listening to the song every minute of every hour during working hours and also after working hours. I think my Ipod is getting tired of the repeated song playing over and over again.. Heheh.. I just can't help it. The song is really good. Singer too. Pretty and tall. No wonder Simon Cowell was so drooling over her during X Factor (which she won). X Factor is a British version of the American Idol.

Last night, we attended my friend's wedding. We were like so late for the wedding! And like major late. Invitation was at 7p.m. but we arrived there at 8.30.. Hehehe.. Everyone was on their third course of the 8 meal course already! Well, it was kinda my fault actually. I had a late meeting which apparently ended at around 6.30 p.m. so I had to rush back and get my clothes changed. On the way home, I was on the phone with Syg (who was at his house already and getting changed), and I asked him what he was wearing.. He said that he was wearing "Baju Biasa" and I was like "Baju t-shirt?" And he was like "Inda eh, baju biru yang bebutang".. So, ok, fine, baju bebutang sounds decent. So, I arrived home, changed my clothes (Baju Fesyen yang batik), put on some make-up and I was ready. Sekalinya, when he arrived and I went into the car, he was wearing jeans and "Baju Bebutang warna Biru"... I was like... "Noooooo".... All the while , I thought he was referring the baju biru yang bebutang atu, his office clothes, yg formal ah, rupanya, yg utk jalan2... So I told him that he needs to change into a more formal attire as we were gonna attend a wedding and not jalan2. Time check: 7.15 p.m. So late! No time to go back to his house, so we opted for an Emergency shopping.. Hua Ho Manggis! And so, frantic shopping can actually lead to you getting the right clothes and not being choosy about it i.e. you pick the clothes as your first choice and it actually fits! Next time check: 8.15 p.m! Zoom off to OGH! And thus, we arrived, and we made a dramatic entrance as "The last guests of the evening". Everyone was staring at us! Hahaha.. Oh well, we managed to sit at a table with oldies surrounding us. Well, that is what you call an experience! Hehehe...

During the whole experience, we encountered the following scenario:

1) Syg forgot to RSVP to the Groom that we were actually coming. So, on the way, he had to call the Groom and tell him that we are coming. Luckily I had the Groom's number saved on my phone as he did not bring his phone.

2)While we were rushing towards to Men's Department at Hua Ho, we found out that he did not bring his main credit card. *sigh* I did not bring mine as well since this was actually not planned. Luckily he brought his ATM card and his other credit card.

3) Being late for a wedding especially when people started eating is a major embarassment. All eyes will be on you. Oh well... At least, we experienced it.. Hehehe..

Wedding Season

This is the time where wedding season has begun.. Lots of ppl are getting married during this peak season. I came across a few wedding happenings this morning when I was on my way to pick up Syg for dim sum and also we passed by one wedding happening on our way to Manggis for Dim Sum. Tomorrow, I'll be attending a wedding reception of a friend of mine, actually, is Syg's friend at first and eventually became a friend of mine as well... *sigh* time flies so fast. This guy who is getting married tomorrow is one of my close friends whom I met during my early days at BB. He would just listen to me nag on the phone about my job and also my lamest jokes. Haha... We would just laugh at illogical stuff and sometimes debate on nonsense stuff.. Hahah.. But to top that off, he was somehow my bridge that lead me to Syg. He is a good listener by the way, well, that was actually part of his JD at BB, *hint hint* Communicating is the key word here.. Oh well.. Hehe

Also, one of my besties just got married last Friday.. Nikah actually. The actual bersanding will be next week. I'm so happy for her. CONGRATS to Asmah and Haji. We i.e. Arnz, Nui, Fifi and Natz were there to witness this joyous occasion. How time flies.. I had a chat with Asmah just a few hours ago, and I reminise (is that how you spell that), a few memorable moments such as my birthday party when we were in Form 1 and there was this incident when she and the others caught me speaking in my tagalog accent.. Haha.. Couldn't forget that line. Well, its for us to know pulang tu.. Poinz, I'm sure you know that too.. Oh yeah, to Poinz and Jebz, I bumped into our Primary School classmate, C Tijah at Asmah's nikah. Rupanya, ia Auntie si Asmah, or was it ia yg Auntie si Asmah.... Anyhoo, she still looks the same like she was during the Primary years.. I couldn't recognise her at first, but then she tagur me dulu.. and she was like

Tijah: (tap on the shoulder) Jazline?

Me: Yeah..

Tijah: Inda ko ingat aku?

Me: Erm.. (blurred a bit).. Inda

Tijah: Tijah wah..

Me: Oh yeah... yg selalu sama c Lidea?

Tijah: Awu.. Ko tau cana ku kenal kau? Pasal aku ingat tai lalat mu atu (pointing above her lips)

Me: Iakah? Ko ani tah

And so, we continued talking for a few minutes as were all grabbing some food to eat. Oh well, the moral is.. she still manages to crack me up after all these years!! Ingat ku dulu, ketawa saja ku dlm kelas.. Manakan, she keeps cracking up all sorts of jokes.

Anyway, I just completed another LO. Its dedicated to my dearest Asem. The pix were taken during our nite out at Charcoal before she left for Brisbane this year. I guess this LO was the fastest that I have done so far. It took me 3 hrs to complete! Hehe.. I guess the song by Leona Lewis inspired me to complete the LO. I am so enjoying her song right now.. "Bleeding Love" Love, love, love the song!! K then, enjoy the pix!
