Selamat Hari Raya!!

Hey ya'll.. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!! Maaf Zahir Dan Batin.. Its my first time to celebrate raya as a wife and to tell you the truth, it is tiring!! Hahaha... The first day alone, we were very busy as we had Open House for our families in Subok.. It was also Open House at Shamsul's.. So we spent the whole morning at Shamsul's before we headed back to Subok.. I had to sleep a few minutes in the afternoon as I was really tired, so Shamsul entertained the relatives for a while.. Hehe..

During the 2nd day and yesterday, we went visiting to some of Shamsul's relatives and also we manage to drop by at Sofee's house. I finally got to meet Poinz and Ripin whom I have not met for the last few months.. Hehehe.. We had a good time laughing but too bad I had to go home early as I was really tired..

This was taken during our only sungkai gathering at OGH. We had a sungkai gathering before Arni left for UK..

What I have been doing the whole week....

First of all, I would like to wish everyone Selamat Berpuasa!! Hehe.. I know its been long overdue but as you guessed it, I've been very busy with work and such.. So what have I been doing the whole week?

Hmm... The last time that I scrapped was before my wedding and that was like last year... So, since it 's Puasa time, I had just a few extra hours to restart scrapping. Oh how I miss scrapping... And also, the other reason was because I have my own workspace already for scrapping!! Syg bought the table extension (which originally is a baby nappy table change) for my existing bookshelf from IKEA. The shelf actually comes in a two piece part. I bought the shelf first (which is actually a shelf for babies stuff) and converted it to my bookshelf. And since I don't have a table in my room, Syg bought the extension for me!!

Anyhoos, enough about the table and back to scrapping. Somehow, during the first day of Puasa (since it was a holiday), my itch for scrapping began.. Actually, I started on the night before the holiday... So, I started working on the Wedding Album Kit that Poinz gave to me for my wedding and from there, it took me 1 week or less to complete the album. I just finished the album today at Syg's place.. Yes, I brought my stuff back to Syg's place for weekend tho finish it up.. Hehehe.. I'm so happy how the album turned out.. And I thought I'll be lost with ideas.. I did manage to grab a few additional stuff from Shabby Chic again (its been a while since I shopped there), and m so loving the Say it with Crystals from Prima Marketing. Love! Love! Love! Also, I made use of my 20% birthday discount. I have yet to collect my birthday gift. Apparently, when I was there, the owner (I forgot her name) couldn't remember which gift to give and so she asked me to return again and collect it from her staff (her staff was not there at that time). So yeah, I'll probably drop my tomorrow (its double stamping day) and might get some stuff for my next LO!!

The 1st page... Album was an 8" x 8" so it was quite easy to scrap..

Draggy Monday....

Hi! Its such a draggy monday today.. Its already been 2 weeks and yet I still have the flu and cough.. Urgh! Thank god the fever has already subsided. Yet, I still have to bear with the 2 other sickness.. Yikes! My day started off with myself dragging my whole lazy body to work, (yup, I mean lazy.. who doesn't feel lazy on a Monday morning?) switched on the computer and saw Grace already having her face glued to the computer screen.. Yup, the very energetic Grace, my neighbour (I sit next to her) and I thought, "Wow, this girl is on the move.. Its only 8.35 a.m. (yup, I arrived 5 minutes late) and she's already stuck to the screen". So I quickly asked her why she didn't attend yesterday's beach gathering (yup, we had a beach gathering yesterday, which I will talk about later) and she was like "Sssshhh! Don't ask." Woops, too late! My boss, who was just behind me quickly asked, "Yup Grace, why didn't you come?" And she quickly gave me the look! Haha!

Oh well, so far, the morning was quite boring.. While I was about to text my customer regarding a few issues on his loan, I received a call from Widi! Yay! Rupanya, she called just to ask about her credit card! Haha! Well, of course, she recognised the tone of my voice and so she asked whether I was still sick.. Uwaaa.. I felt like crying at my desk! I miss my friends!! Hehe.. So yeah, told her I was still sick.. She was at Nui's at that time, and I managed to talk to Nui for a while.. Uwaa.. Miss u Nui, and by the way, Jengers will hang out on Wednesday Nite, so I'll send your regards to them yea.. Or if they are reading this blog, "Nui kirim salam".. Hehehe.. So after I hung up, the day getting to be a bit better although I still was not in the mood to really work my ass off. One of the reason was that I was coughing like every 10 minutes.. Its just so annoying! I bet my other colleagues are annoyed as well.. Haha..

Anyhoos, yesterday we had a Department Gathering at Muara Beach. It was organised by my team leader, Mary, to create a team building exercise among colleagues in the SME Unit. It was quite fun, which I did not expect.. Coz I thought it was just going to be a boring "Eat all you can" session, but then it turned out to be fun. Everyone brought yummy food and later on in the morning we played a few games. There was one game where we had to get a very long string pass through inside our clothes (I can't really describe it.. hehehe) and continously get it through everybody until the very last person and which ever team finished first, will win.. And yes, we won! Yehay! So yeah, it was fun and me and dear hubby enjoyed it.. Hehee.. Also, Muara Beach had a major facelift and the beach looks fantabulous now! I didn't get to take shots of the newly renovated beach, but I did manage to get shots of our fun picnic!!

Look at his shirt! Its his fav! Haha

Back from Bali

Hey peeps! M back from our holidays! Let me just tell you guys that Bali is great!! And I mean it in my most ecstastic and excited voice! And of course, I will recommend to anyone who is interested to go to Bali coz it is a very very gorgeous island!! Hehehe... I just finished uploading and resizing the photos coz its a lot.. Half of my camera's memory was only on Bali's pics alone.. Hehehe..

Before we went to Bali, we stopped over at Kuala Lumpur for 2 days as there is no direct flight from Brunei anymore.. So yeah, the usual shopping happened PLUS it was The Great Malaysia Sale. There were a lot of Arabians in KL and according to Fizan, it was because its the peak season and its the holidays in the Gulf region, so the richie rich of the Gulf region travel to Malaysia to holiday and of course shop. During our stay there, we managed to meet up with Fizan and had a little chit chat over at the Curve..

And so Bali, there are just so much stuff to say about Bali... The weather was great despite the scorching sun but thank god there was a cool breeze throughout the days we were there so yeah, we didn't have sweaty bodies while walking around the city.. Hehehe.. It was also peak season at Bali but this time, the tourists were mostly from Australia and Europe. So everywhere we went, there were Orang Putih around.

We stayed at Melia Bali Resort and SPA at Nusa Dua and it was recommended by Arni and I tell you, the resort was really fantastic! *Sigh* We were under the Honeymoon package therefore we had an upgrade of room from deluxe to duplex suite which was a 2 floor room, and there was the romantic dinner for by the beach and also there was the Balinese massage.. Yup, we did enjoy the whole package. So basically, we went around Kuta area, and Ground Zero of the Bali Bombing and also, we had a one day tour around Bali which started from 8am till 7.30 p.m. We took the one day tour on the day that we were leaving for KL, and since our flight to KL was at 11.35 at night, why not take the tour! And the tour was so great! We contacted a tour company from a leaflet I picked up at the Airport, and in the brochure listed the places of interest in Bali for which the tour can last one day and all for USD$35 per person, including lunch!! Great deal.. Oh well, please click here and here for the photos.. Enjoy!!

2 more days and counting...

I am so excited with the very 1st event of my wedding celebration.. i.e. Nikah.. Rite now, I am feeling both the exitement and the nerves. I just couldn't imagine that in a few days time I will be declared someone's wife.. And not just any ordinary someone, its my syg, of course.. DUH.. Hehehe.

Time flies so fast.. This morning, I woke up to watch the Euro Cup match and m so glad that Spain won.. I was really happy! Dad was rooting for Russia so he had a gloomy look on his face when D.Guiza scored the 2nd goal. And then there was the 3rd goal... hehe.. My dad got up straight and went to his room when the final whistle was blown.. Haha! Tough luck Russia! Better luck next time.. Go SPAIN!! Anyhoos, yup, this morning, when I woke up the 2nd time (around 9.00 a.m), I went down to the kitchen to eat breakfast and saw my mum there. I was like, "Yahoo!! SPAIN won!" (coz she was also rooting for Russia), and my mum was like, "Could you give me a kiss, you'll be married soon)... Uwaa.. I was like... save the tears for later, no tears now... and of course, I gave her the kiss..

I had my traditional mandi lulut at WA Traditional massage at Qlap. And it was super fun! Plus the prices are quite affordable. They have several packages to choose from. Last Tuesday, I tried on the traditional lulut only with the body massage and it costs me only $35, which was quite reasonable. Today, I had the package Pengantin and it consists of the traditional bertajul, bertangkas, mandi lulur, mandi bunga with susu and so on and of course it ended with a
manicure and pedicure. Pure pampering.. and all for a whopping $60!! So for those brides to be (hint hint), why don't u give it a try! Its located just above Aminah Arif Qlap. You won't miss it. Results of the package pengantin: soft and I mean really soft and fairer skin.. Hehehe..

Toodles.. Can't wait for Sunday!

BTW, Welcome back my daleng Nui and Widz!! Can't wait to see you on Sunday..
